Leading and overseeing the projects for DNA barcoding of plants, fungi and lichens with internal and external collaborators and customers. That includes: selecting the best strategy for each individual project, e.g. method of sampling, DNA extraction, selection of DNA markers; developing primers, optimizing laboratory protocols for plants; quality control of sequencing data, submission to the public databases – Barcode of Life Data management system (BOLD) and GenBank, analysis of the data and writing the manuscripts.
